VINYL MASTERING

📁File Delivery :
- At checkout, please include a download link to your premaster file(s) in the “Notes or Instructions” section
- You can use any file-sharing platform of your choice

📝Notes :
- Each order includes a "Quick Mix Check" prior to mastering, delivered as a written document detailing recommended mix adjustments to meet vinyl mastering and cutting requirements
- Mastering is performed using a hybrid workflow combining analog API 500-series processing to enhance tonal balance with subtle analog character alongside digital tools

🚨Requirements :
- The premaster must be delivered in WAV 24-bit, 44.1 kHz
- No processing is allowed on the master bus (no limiter, maximizer, clipper, compression, EQ, stereo enhancement, or similar processing)
- Masking issues must be corrected at the mixing stage
- Approximately -3 dB of headroom must be preserved, with no clipping or inter-sample peaks
- A clean, controlled, and coherent internal balance between all elements is required, with particular attention to low-end stability and phase coherence for vinyl cutting

⏱️Delivery Time :
- Orders are delivered within 5 business days, starting from the next business day after the order is placed (or from the date the files are validated if the original submission had issues)
- If you need your master urgently, please add the 'Express Delivery' option to your shopping cart during checkout

🔁 Revision Limits :
- Vinyl Mastering includes 2 revisions per track
- Revisions, whether included or extra, are available for 10 calendar days starting from the delivery of the file, the order is considered completed after this period
- Extra revisions must be purchased through the “Extra Revision” service (10€ per revision)

🔄 Revision Policy :
- Revisions can cover adjustments related to the master chain itself for changes such as dynamics, color or overall tone, as well as the submission of a new premaster if you want to slightly adjust the internal balance
- A new premaster can be accepted as a revision as long as the change is minor and does not significantly rebalance the mix
- If the new premaster introduces a significant rebalance of the mix, tonal shape or dynamics, it will be considered as a new mastering order

📩 Support & Communication :
- All communications are handled exclusively from Monday to Friday, between 09:00 and 19:00 (CET)

✔ Terms & Conditions :
- The client is fully responsible for delivering a premaster that meets all technical requirements for vinyl mastering, including a clean internal balance, controlled low end, stable phase, and appropriate dynamics
- The vinyl mastering service does not include mix correction, mix rebuilding, sound design changes, or detailed mix coaching
- If the premaster contains structural mix issues, the mastering will proceed using the provided file, within the physical limitations of vinyl, unless the project is deemed technically unsuitable
- Any limitations, distortions, loss of impact, or tonal compromises resulting from an uncorrected premaster are the responsibility of the client and are inherent to the vinyl cutting process
- If an issue becomes more apparent after mastering and is identified as originating from the mix, it will not be treated as a mastering error or grounds for revision
- Any request involving changes to the mastering chain (EQ, dynamics, level, tonal balance, or overall loudness) after delivery is considered a revision
- I reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if the premaster does not meet the minimum technical requirements for safe and reliable vinyl cutting.
- By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted the technical constraints of vinyl mastering, the revision policy, delivery times, and the right to refuse or cancel an order in case of non-compliant source material
